i always love Agyness Deyn, She's definitely my favorite top model. For me, she's not a typical model that comes with long wavy hair, absolutely not just another pretty girl. She is quirky, fun to look at, she has a twist of rebel in her style, she has a nice smile and i love her style! it pretty much represents my personal style.

a little bit of music and fashion

   Lately i really feel that everyday is so exhausting. umm... Technically, i am jobless, yeah i am in the middle of longggggg holidayy, at least until next 2 months until new chapter of my life. Now i'm not a student nor an employee. I will be enrolling in master program for September 2011 intake. That's why i am so exhausted now. I started to learn Italian this month, it's been almost 3 weeks now. I took an intensive class from Monday - Friday at Instituto Italiano di Cultura, and it is in Menteng which force me to spend about 6 hours everyday, 3 hours for the round trip from my house to IIC ( thanks to "macet" in this goddamn Jakarta) and 3 hours for the lesson. I was planning to take France course in CCF.. however, i guess i will postpone my plan for a while due to to some reasons.

      Firstly, i went to Singapore International Guitar Competition (SIGC 2011) on the day i supposed to join my first France lesson, which i think would leave me clueless if i already skipped 4 hours lesson for the first 3 days, plus i still struggling with Italian, the homework and so on plus catch up with some lesson that i missed when i went to Singapore. Arghh... i really wish that Doraemon magic door exists, so i could both learn the lesson and compete plus watching the finale. Too bad, i have to go back earlier so i can't watch the finalist compete. :(

About the competition, i feel lucky i can join even though i don't make it until semifinal. There are a lot of "guitar monster" from all over the world joined in this year, i saw some of them in youtube. never thought i will meet them eye on eye. So here is the winner:

1.  The first prize goes to Mu Huai Chong, a prodigy from China, he's only 15 years old! (the boy who grab 2 guitars in the middle)

2. Second prize goes to Marko Topchii, an awsome guy from Ukraine, very technical and musical man..

3.Third prize goes to Monching Carpio, a guitarist from Philipine who also won some international competitions too..

i would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to all the winner.. :)

BTW, i have a strong feeling that i might like Italia, but seriously, what's the point of putting a gender to every noun in the world? in this modern age, femminile and maschile are equal..LOL..it driving me mad! it's very exhausting plus i have been sick this whole week! i have fever because of some infection, feels like hell.

anyway, let's forget it for a second.. this is weekend..let's chill...
guys.. i dunno why, i always into ragged and messy things.. something with torn and tattered detail on it and.. the second after i saw this ELLIE LAVELLE for spring 2011, i fell in love with this tank top! yeah i know spring is over, but who cares? that's the beauty of living in Indonesia..LOL

I loveeeeee this tattered top soo muchhhh... plus the model, Raina Hein, the runner up of ANTM cycle 14 has successfully sell this clothes.. i love this girl, i really think she should has won that competition rather than the winner.

this is it...finally..i did it!

YEAHH first of all i would like to say:

i did it! finally i'm finished my study and got my degree! for most people it is a happiness.

i didn't say i'm not, i am. it's just... why i feel so scared now? so scared about what i'm gonna face next. it means i'm finished one chapter of my life and going to the next chapter. it's terribly scary. being 20 something is hard for me. :( yess, i'm thinking about: "what to do next", "another adaptation", and it's a big girl world now. somehow, i wish time can stop the way i wanted. anyone can borrow a remote for me? to pause, fast forward and backward my life as my wish. anyone?please?please?please? :p

anyone can take me back to the time when i was a kids? when all i think about is just play, play and play. what i'm gonna play today and buy new toys. when people asked me what i wanna be, without any doubt i answered "doctor!"

yes, can someone take me back to that dreamy little girl?? oh how i wish someone could. :( now how could i possibly become a doctor, i could barely see blood. n everytime someone asked me what i'm gonna be, it takes a long time to answer and i'm not sure yet, cause i'm scared. i am the type of person that people used to call "jack of all traits" and master of none :(

however, this is it.. now i'm ready (or maybe not ready) to enter the new chapter of my life. wish me luck guys..

siapa yang bloon?

setelah kira-kira 1 dekade ilang dari peredaran, here i am back again.. (yes i’m such a lazy ass...my bad..). Kali ini gw lagi dapet inspirasi untuk nulis beberapa cerita tentang trip gw. pertama kali pergi ke jepang, yang gue kagum dari negara ini adalah begitu gemerlapnya kota-kota di jepang, penuh dengan lampu-lampu warna warni kalau malam, dan tentunya fashion orang jepang yang gw yakin super norak kalau dipakai alay-alay Indonesia, tapi anehnya bagus-bagus aja dipakai mereka. Waktu pergi ke Disneyland & Disney Sea Tokyo, kalau biasanya di negara lain, petugas-petugas yang kerja di Disneyland itu begitu eye catching karena kostumnya yang biasanya ada hubungan dengan tokoh-tokoh Disney. tapi ini gak berlaku di jepang. Pengunjung dan Petugasnya, sama hebohnya... gue ga lebaiiii, seriously benerannnn. These are some of the quirky look..ini poto gw ambil diem-diem jadi sorry for the quality, maklum gw bukan paparazzi...

 Yang juga gak kalah salut adalah, jepang adalah negara yang hi-tech. Bisa dilihat dari plumbing system, closet. Hampir semua closet di jepang itu kerennnn... dalem artian, itu begitu duduk, di kiri-kanan tombolnya banyak banget, gw jg ga ngerti masing-masin gunanya,ada yg buat heater, ada musik (kalo buat pup mungkin musik harus dinyalain biar orang tau lu lagi pup jd ga nungguin..halahhh), pokonya macem-macem..


ngomong-ngomong tentang closet, ada kejadian lucu... gini ceritanya...

Suatu hari gw pergi ke Hanoi, Vietnam. Gw agak shock disana, karena gw sempet booking kamar hotel yang harganya lumayan pricey, kira-kira U$100. Bayangan gw dengan harga segitu di Vietnam adalah minimal standar bintang 3 di Indonesia, karena di website juga tertulis bintang 3 sekian.

Waktu sampe di Hanoi, gw baru tau kalau di Hanoi kebanyakan hotel-hotelnya itu berupa ruko yang besarnya gak lebih besar dari rumah gw tapi dengan harga yang gw bayar, gw masih berharap kalau hotel yang gw pesen itu sesuai dengan ekspektasi gw, tapi begitu sampai di hotel A, astaga... penampilan luarnya agak mengecewakan yah. Jauh beda sama yang di foto-foto website, moral of the day: kalau booking hotel di Internet, turunkanlah ekspektasi kalian 50 % dr gambar website. Yakkk lanjut, jadi beneran, hotel itu cuma di ruko mungkin ukurannya sekitar 6x10 meter. Lantai 1 itu terdiri dari restoran yg cuman ada 2 meja, dapur yg super kecil, di dpn ada receptionis n meja tamu kecil. ya jelas aja gw kecewa, karena bayangan gw, hotel 3-400ribu di Jakarta aja udah lumayan, punya lobby hotel yang besar, trus bener-bener hotel-like.

Waktu itu gw pergi bareng keluarga, reaksi bokap, nyokap dan adik gw sama, yaitu terdiam.hahahhaa Mungkin semua shock. Petugas resepsionis juga yang ngajak gw naik ke atas, waktu itu gw pesen family room, yang ditulis di website 1 king size bed + 2 single bed. okeh, pas buat sekeluarga, Dengan antusias si mbak resepsionis nganter ke kamar, dan dia bilang “okeh, kalian bakal dapet kamar yang sangat besar”. Oke there we go, sampelah di kamar. Ga tau kenapa, waktu sampai di kamar, kita semua bengong. sampe si mbak resepsionis bilang “what happened? you don’t like the room?” trus nyokap bilang, “oh..no no... just tired.” Jadi mungkin penyebab bengongnya itu adalah, yappp itu kamar hotel gak kaya kamar hotel, kamarnya lumayan besar, tapi terkesan agak norak, kamar yang berusaha dibuat mewah tapi jadinya agak norak. Satu yang gw kaget, closetnya model yang biasa di Jepang! mungkin bekasan penjajahan Jepang..hahaha (foto diatas gw ambil di Hanoi, bukan di Jepang).

yakkk.... kira-kira icon ini pantesnya ditaro di toilet, dan yappp it is...itu tombol yg biasa ada di samping closet-closet di jepang, dan masih banyak lagi tombol yang di sampingnya. Apa yang lucu??

Jadi ceritanya karena gw pikir sama kaya di Jepang, gw pencet-pencet tombolnya tapi gak ada yang berfungsi. Waktu gw telp room boy di bawah buat nanya gimana nyalain air panas, kemudian si room boy datang ke kamar, ngajarin cara nyalain air panas, Trus gw iseng nanya, gini:

Gw:“this button is not working, why?” (sambil nunjuk tombol yang harusnya buat nyebok itu)

Room boy: “oooh... it’s for smell” (dengan inggris pas-pasan, gayanya nunjukin idung)

Gw: “hah?for smell?”

RB: “Yes..” (dengan gaya sok yakin)

Gw: oooh....... (speechless)

Akhirnya waktu si room boy pergi, gw ngakak-ngakak trus ngomong sama bokap, pasti tuh room boy mikir gw katro banget, sedangkan gw mikir dia bloon banget. Pertanyaannya: siapa sih yang bloon? ada gampar pantat, sama orang lagi duduk, trus ada semacem pancuran air, dan dia bilang itu buat smell! smell apaan? maksud lo pengharum ruangan???ngaraangggg
